The Hotel Porta Felice is located in the heart of the Kalsa district, on Via Butera, close to the famous city gate from which it takes its name. It is a design hotel in the center of the historic part of the city. It features a Wellness Club with sauna, whirlpool, steam room, and relaxation area, as well as a panoramic terrace overlooking Palermo.
The materials used to finish the hotel have been carefully chosen: the precious Matrix marble, with its characteristic dark gray color and silver reflections, dominates the corridor leading to the meeting room. Rosso Verona marble can be found in the gym and in the business meeting room, as well as on the staircase and in the bathrooms of the rooms.
The furniture was entirely made by local craftsmen: the custom-made desks were crafted by a Palermo cabinetmaker. There is also a touch of design that blends with the past: an example of this is the lobby, furnished in a contemporary style and paired with an 18th-century chest of drawers, an example of fine Sicilian woodworking.
